Exhibition hall in Izmailovsky Park is designed on the site of the old pavilion, which had been in emergency condition. The project strives to convey the traits of landscape architecture of the 50’s – in our case it is a plastic blank wooden wall, decorated with herring-bone pattern. The shape and the finish is almost completely repeat the existing building, providing a modern interpretation of the Park’s traditions. In zigzag walls there are windows. Also, there is an accessible roof with a summer café deck.
The project was created as part of a major renovation project of Izmaylovsky Park.
