The lecture hall serves as one of the semantic dominants of the Izmailovsky Zoo complex. It is located near the greenhouse and pavilions with animals. It hosts educational programs and meetings of the park’s visitors with biologists. It is also possible to hold closed events in the lecture hall without having to close the entire Zverinets. For this purpose, a terrace with pergola constructions was projected on the side facade. In the evening the lecture hall turns into a luminous “lighthouse”, becoming the central place in the Zverinz complex and a point of attraction for visitors.
