The Yusupov palace (the very place where Rasputin was slaughtered) now has a new navigation system. From now on, visitors will always be able to find a way out of basement labyrinths and get to know a complicated system of exhibitions in the palace. Moreover, in main halls there will be situated clear stands that provide detailed information about unique and lost exhibits.
The palace’s park also becomes a part of the museum space. There is not a lot of navigation, and existing lampposts are used as information signs. Beside this, visitors are welcomed by a big stand that shows a map of the homestead and posters of upcoming events. Exclusively for the navigation system, we simplified and transformed the emblem of the Yusupov family. Some elements are used in icons, and some of them become corporate signs and are transferred onto souvenirs.
