The exhibition is an open storage area of the World Ocean Museum that was previously inaccessible to visitors. The exhibit tells the story of methods for studying marine flora and fauna, key discoveries, and various technological solutions used by scientists in their daily work. The exhibition features unique exhibits, including the deep-water manned vehicle “Mir,” the submersible Tethys, and the space landing vehicle. The main floor symbolizes the marine element, while the balcony represents the deck of a research vessel. Climbing up to the balcony provides a view of the underwater vehicles located on the first floor. The exhibition features the longest showcase in Russia, with a total length of 24 meters.
