This is a project containing comprehensive restoration of the main street and adjoining areas. Pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure was created alongside Oktyabrskiy avenue. Akademicheskaya square, which is the main city square, was improved, its size was increased by creating a thoroughfare parking lot. Moreover, there were organised convenient entrances to the stores in a nearby house and a completely barrier-free environment. There were also created new places of attraction: Fizicheskaya and Solnechnaya squares. Both of them are completed with street installations and modern landscaping with perennials and marigolds — flowers that are familiar to the locals. For now, the first part of work is accomplished, and there is more to come in years 2019 –2020.
