This house was originally designed for two different lifestyles. One half of the house is a studio with mezzanine, the other one is a family house with two bedrooms. We’ve developed a system of platforms and sites as a solution to a backyard. It formally divides the territory and eases moving around the area in a rainy weather, but it does not create visual barriers. Outer shell combines separate parts of the duplex in a whole volume. A massive chimney completes the entire wooden image.
